I made this illustration some months ago for a very nice story called Pink Planet. It's about a  resourceful girl who wants to visit space and land on a pink planet full of cute magic creatures.
Unfortunately the project didn't get off the ground and that's a pity beacuse it could have been a lovely book very fun to draw.

Questa illustrazione è di qualche mese fa, è ispirata ad una storia intitolata Pink Planet, racconta di una bambina intraprendente che vuole visitare lo spazio e atterra su un pianeta rosa pieno di creaturine magiche e chiccose.
Purtroppo il progetto non è partito ed è un vero peccato perchè la storia mi piaceva e sarebbe stato divertentissimo disegnare tutte quelle bestioline coccolose.

This is a proof for a wedding invitation card I made for a dear friend I knew in high-school...

It was my first try on this kind of illustrations but I'm happy to say it was amazing to see it on the invitation card, when it finally arrived! =)

Thought it would be appropriate for this Illustration Friday's Theme.

Illustration Friday - Heights

For the IF's theme of the week I choose one of the illustrations me and Angela are going to show during the next exhibition "Paesaggi Fantastici" (Fantasy Sceneries) that will take place in Signa, near Florence, next week ( Avril, 24-25 ).

Heights can be scaring or fun, it depends on who is fronting them... but sometimes you just have to take a deep breath and JUMP!

Illustration Friday for the Ripple blog project

This week Illustration Friday has joined forces with http://ripplesketches.blogspot.com. Illustrators around the world are donating their images inspired by the environmental catastrophe caused by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
These will be made available for a small donation of $10.00 to either The Institute for Marine Mammal Studies or The International Bird Rescue Research Center.
We are so impressed with Kelly Light's generosity and of all the people who has contributed by sending and buying cards: she's raised over $1,500!

Going on diet

As it happens every single monday today i'm going on diet!
So i started this morning with my diet EQUIPMENT: an healty breakfast based on milk and cereals, about half an hour gym, hot shower, massage with several different body lotions and then... well after being so good i deserve something special! For example a giant piece of cake...
